WICHITA- Two men were injured in an accident just before 4:30 a.m. on Monday in Sedgwick County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Kenworth semi driven by Phillip Navarrette Marin, 40, Oxnard, CA., was northbound on Interstate 135 at 45th street in Wichita.

The truck left the road to the left and struck a utility pole.

Marin and a passenger in the sleeper Sergio G. Cortes, 30 Ventura, CA., were transported to Wesley Medical Center.

The KHP reported Marin was properly restrained at the time of the accident.
