WICHITA, Kan. (AP) — Wichita police say they’ve arrested a 54-year-old man in connection to a fatal shooting last week.
The Wichita Eagle reports the man was arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder. He hasn’t been charged.
Police say 36-year-old Nathaniel Jackson was found shot multiple times at a north-central Wichita home on Thursday. He was taken to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The suspect is being held on $500,000 bond. Police are expected to present their case to prosecutors on Wednesday to determine whether charges will be filed.
