Phillipsburg resident Ruby June Werner passed away Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2014, at the Smith County Memorial Hospital in Smith Center at the age of 83.

Ruby was born June 18, 1931, in Phillips County to John Andrew & Ruth Naomi (Ritter) Robinson. Her husband, Donald Werner, preceded her in death on December 20, 2000.

Survivors include her son, Randy, of Phillipsburg and daughter, Brenda Piper, of Grand Island, NE; brother, Robert “Bob” Robinson of Geneva, NE; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Cremation was chosen. Memorial services will be held Sat., Nov. 8, at 11:00 a.m. in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg, with Pastor Joel Hiesterman officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Phillipsburg.

Friends may sign the book Friday, Nov. 7, from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
