WALTON- A Kansas man was injured in an accident just before 4 p.m. on Tuesday in Harvey County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2008 Freightliner semi driven by Gabriel Ochiana, 45, Porter Ranch, CA., was westbound on U.S. 50 in Walton.

The driver didn’t see a Pontiac Aztec stopped intending to turn left onto eastbound Northeast 60th. The semi rear-ended the Pontiac.

The Pontiac driver Marcus T. Drake, 42, Waco, TX., was transported to Newton Medical Center,

Ochiana was not injured.
The KHP reported both drivers were properly restrained at the time of the collision.
