Fort Hays State scored the games first 13 points then added a 13-5 run late in the first half in building a 22-point lead and go on for an 84-42 win over Central Christian College Wednesday night at Gross Coliseum. The victory snaps the Tigers five-game losing streak dating back to last season and improves them to 1-2 on the season.
The Tigers scored the first 18 points of the second half, holding CCC without a field goal for the first 10:19.

Jeremy Wilson led four Tigers in double-figures with 16 points. Dom Samac and Craig Nicholson both add 12 and Drew Kite 10. Nicholson did record an assist for the first time in his career. Jake Stoppel led the Tigers with 12 rebounds.
Game Highlights
FHSU shoots 47-percent despite hitting just 3-of-18 beyond the arc. CCC was held to 19-percent shooting.
The Tigers are back at home Saturday at 4pm against Bethel College.
