BELOIT- A Kansas man was injured in an accident just before 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday in Mitchell County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1998 Ford F150 driven by Rex L. Henningsen, 86, Beloit, was southbound on Kansas 14 one mile north of Beloit.

The driver did not realize a John Deere tractor pulling a swather driven by Adams, Jeremy D. Adams, 29, Beloit, was a slow moving vehicle.

The truck rear-ended the farm implement.

Henningsen was transported to Mitchell County Hospital. Adams was not injured.

The KHP reported he was not wearing a seat belt.
