A special fundraising event for United Way of Ellis County will be offered Friday night in downtown Hays.

Couture for Men & Women, 1109-1111 Main, will host a shopping opportunity from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday with appetizers, drinks and entertainment.

Fifteen percent of the evening’s proceeds will be donated to the local United Way.
