OSBORNE—A Stockton man died in an accident just after 11 p.m. on Friday in Osborne County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Chevy van driven by Frank Wolfgang Post, 44,  was traveling on U.S. 81 just west of Mitchell County.

The vehicle entered the north ditch, traveled through the ditch and hit a tree.

Post was pronounced dead the scene and transported to Clark-Gashaw Mortuary in Osborne.

The KHP reported he was properly restrained at the time of the accident.
