Fort Hays State raced out to 9-0 lead over the first 3 1/2 minutes Saturday against Cameron University, then added a pair of 12-0 runs in building a 32 first half lead and defeat the Aggies from Lawton, Oklahoma 93-52 at Gross Coliseum. Cameron hit just one of their first 12 shots and missed their first seven 3-point attempts as the Lady Tigers built a 33-4 early lead.
Cameron closes the game on a 21-9 run after the Lady Tigers led by as many as 53 in the second half. The win is the second straight for the Lady Tigers as they improve to 3-1. Cameron, playing their third straight road game to start the season, falls to 0-3.

Kate Lehman records her first double-double of the season, scoring 26 points and pulling down 14 rebounds. She also had eight blocked shots. Chelsea Mason hit 5-of-10 three-point shots and added 23 points off the bench. Keriann Shaw scores 10.
FHSU shoots 52-percent from the floor including 7-of-17 free throws and 6-of-6 free throw shooting.
