WABAUNSEE COUNTY- There people were injured in an accident just before 8 a.m. on Saturday in Wabaunsee County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Dodge Stratus driven by Chancy Agustus Taylor Nulsen, 17, Hudson, CO., was traveling eastbound on Interstate 70 at Keene-Eskridge Road.

The vehicle left the roadway to the south, traveled down the embankment, struck a washout, and overturned.

Nulsen and passengers Zachary Vega, 17, and a child, also of Hudson, CO., were transported to Stormont Vail.

The KHP reported all were properly restrained at the time of the accident.
