JOHNSON – Two people were injured in an accident just before 4 p.m. on Tuesday in Stanton County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1999 Toyota Camry driven by Elizebeth Rodriguez, 45, Johnson, was northbound on Kansas 27 six miles south of Johnson.
The vehicle drifted off the roadway. The driver overcorrected to the left, then overcorrected to right, the vehicle left the roadway and rolled.
Rodriguez was transported to St. Catherine’s Hospital in Garden City. A passenger in the vehicle Felipe M. Ramos, 20, Johnson, was transported to Stanton County Hospital and then flown to a hospital in Wichita.
The KHP reported Ramos was not wearing a seat belt.
