High Plains Mental Health Center
High Plains Mental Health Center, in partnership with the Rooks and Rush county commissions, has begun weekly treatment sites in Plainville and La Crosse.
The Community Outreach Offices allow residents from Rooks and Rush counties to seek treatment locally, without traveling to the main HPMHC campus in Hays.
The Community Outreach Offices are located at the Rooks County Health Center in Plainville and the Rush County Memorial Hospital in La Crosse.
These offices are part of an effort by HPMHC to partner with each of its 20 member counties to provide local mental health services to the residents of northwest Kansas.
“It is important for us to deliver services as close to home as possible and to coordinate mental health and physical health services,” said High Plains Mental Health Center Executive Director Walter Hill. “We appreciate Rooks and Rush counties’ partnership with us to support and maintain this local priority.”
High Plains Mental Health Center is a licensed community mental health center dedicated to the aggressive pursuit of providing a comprehensive mental health program to the residents of northwest Kansas.
