MUNJOR — The Sunflower Chapter of the American Historical Society of Germans from Russia will hold its annual Christmas Program and Banquet Sunday Dec. 14th from noon to 3 p.m. at the Munjor Parish Hall.

The dinner will be traditional turkey with all the trimmings — served as a fundraiser for $10 a plate or $5 a plate for children age 5 to 12. RSVP to Dolores Pfannenstiel at (785) 625-6452 by Dec. 9.

This year’s program, “Why the Bells Rang,” will take place at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Munjor after dinner. Bring the kids and grandkids for a visit from Christ Kind and Belznichel.
