GREAT BEND-The Barton County Sheriff’s Office and local law enforcement are asking the public’s assistance in the location and apprehension of Justin E. Peterson.

Officials say Peterson skipped bond in June, when he failed to appear in the Barton County District Court.

Several other warrants have been issued for his arrest. Peterson was out on bond stemming from drug- related and other charges. He has a history of violent crime and weapons violations.

Peterson is described as a white male, 27 years of age, six feet tall, 200 pounds, brown hair and blue eyes.

He also has numerous tattoos.
