COLBY – A man from Oakley was injured in an accident just before 10 p.m. on Wednesday in Thomas County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Ford F150 driven by Gerald Sheaks, 53, Oakley, was eastbound on Interstate 70.

The truck came off the right side to the south ditch and rolled.

Sheaks was transported to the hospital in Colby. A passenger in the vehicle was not injured.
The KHP reported he was not wearing a seat belt.
