Lang Diesel Inc. is celebrating the holiday season by giving $1,000 dollars to the charity that receives the most votes in an online contest.
In celebration of opening Lang’s 12th location, Shelly Macumber, marketing director at Lang Diesel, said the first annual Facebook contest allows people to submit an entry and also vote on their favorite project or cause.
Macumber added the contest is a great way to reach out to the community.

Macumber said once people are logged onto their Facebook page, they can submit or vote on an entry there — one vote per day.
When entering a charity, participants are asked to submit a picture and a reason for entering.
Anyway who is 18 years or older and lives in Kansas, Nebraska, Colorado, Missouri or Oklahoma is eligible to enter the contest.
The contest ends on Dec. 25 and the charity or project with the most votes will win the $1,000 dollar grant.
