BURDICK – The Kansas Highway Patrol has released details of a fatal rollover accident that occurred just after 8:30 p.m. on Saturday in Morris County.

The KHP eported a 2002 Dodge Durango driven by Chase A. Kniebel, 21, Herrington, was traveling eastbound on BB Road one mile west of Burdick.

The vehicle went into the north ditch, through a fence, rolled several times and came to rest in a pasture. The driver was ejected.

Kniebel was pronounced dead at the scene and transported to Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home.

The KHP reported he was not wearing a seat belt.
