WICHITA- One person was injured in an accident just before 8:30 a.m. on Monday in Sedgwick County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1998 Toyota passenger car driven by Rocky E. Guice, 37, OK., was southbound on Interstate 235 just south of Central.

The driver lost control of the vehicle. It crossed the median into oncoming traffic and struck a 2004 BMW and a 2014 Mazda SUV.

Guice was transported to St. Francis Hospital. There were no other injuries. The KHP reported Guice was not wearing a seat belt.
