Mild Sunday, colder weather on the way

FileExpect increasing clouds today with high temperatures in the mid to upper 30s. A strong Arctic cold front will move through the region on Monday bringing bitterly cold temperatures and a chance for light snow.

Snow is possible Monday afternoon into Tuesday with well below normal temperatures Monday through Wednesday. The coldest day will be Tuesday, before temperatures start to climb again late in the week.

Today: Sunny, with a high near 38. Wind chill values as low as zero. West wind 6 to 8 mph becoming south in the afternoon.

Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 16. Calm wind becoming north northeast 5 to 7 mph after midnight.

Monday: A 30 percent chance of snow, mainly after 3pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 26. Wind chill values as low as 4. Blustery, with a north northeast wind 7 to 12 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon.

Monday Night: A 40 percent chance of snow, mainly before 4am. Cloudy, with a low around 4. Wind chill values as low as -13. Blustery, with a north wind 15 to 20 mph.

Tuesday: A 20 percent chance of snow before 9am. Cloudy and cold, with a high near 12. North wind around 14 mph.
