KDOT survey work planned in Graham County

Starting Monday and continuing for approximately three months, survey teams from the Kansas Department of Transportation will begin conducting field surveys for three proposed bridge replacement projects in Graham County.

Survey work will be concentrated along U.S. 24 at the following locations: the Antelope Creek drainage bridge located 3.56 miles east of the Graham/Sheridan County line, and the South Fork Solomon River drainage bridges located 4.79 miles and 3.47 miles east of the U.S. 24 and K-85 junction near Morland. The work is necessary to gather information for the proposed project to replace the bridges. Please use caution when traveling through the survey area.

A member of the survey crew will contact property owners and/or tenants for permission to enter private property, should access be needed. Kirkham Michael & Associates is conducting the surveys for KDOT.

For more information regarding the survey work, contact Northwest Kansas Public Affairs Manager Lisa Mussman at (785) 877-3315 or [email protected].
