BUNKER HILL — The city of Bunker Hill had its natural gas service restored Monday evening, after an excavator dug through a natural gas line serving the city early Monday.

According to Midwest Energy, the line was repaired as of 1 p.m. and, by 8 pm., all facilities were re-lit.

Crews from Hays, WaKeeney, Great Bend, Stockton, Wilson and Russell assisted with the relighting of facilities.
