The upcoming K-State Winter Ranch Management Series will highlight best management and selection practices for replacement heifers and allow producers to ask questions of extension specialists.
Topics will range from market outlook, heifer selection, nutrition, breeding and estrus synchronization.
The La Crosse program will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 6 from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at the La Crosse Livestock Market. RSVP is requested by Friday, Jan. 2, by calling the Walnut Creek Extension District at (785) 222-2710 or the Ellis County Extension at (785) 628-9430.
