Elaine K. Driscoll, 67, formerly of Hays, died Thursday, January 1, 2015, at the Locust Grove Village in LaCrosse.

She was born September 17, 1947, in Dodge City, Kansas the daughter of Russell W. and Wilma (Lilly) Rynerson.

Elaine grew up in Jetmore, Kansas, was a 1965 graduate of Jetmore High School, and a 1970 graduate of Fort Hays State University. She married Ken Driscoll on June 19th, 1970, and they later divorced. She loved her alma mater and served over 30 years as an administrative assistant in various departments at Fort Hays State University.

Survivors include one brother, Don Rynerson and wife Sigrid of Hays, Kansas, nephews Scott Rynerson and wife Elizabeth of Merriam, Kansas, Casey Rynerson and wife Audrey of Spearville, Kansas, along with great nieces, Meka, Ava, and Brynley, great nephews, Parker and Carter, and one aunt Betty Fakes of Jetmore, KS.  She is also survived by a host of cousins, many friends, and her Locust Grove Village family.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Monday, January 5, 2015 at the Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1906 Pine.  Burial will be at 3:00 pm in the Fairmount Cemetery in Jetmore.  Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 7:00 on Sunday and from 9:00 am until service time Monday, all at the Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
