CHANUTE – A Kansas man was injured in an accident just before 8:30 a.m. on Friday in Wilson County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a Ford Econoline van driven by Kevin Lee Rhodes, 55, Haven, was eastbound on Kansas 39 eight miles east of Chanute.

The driver lost control on the icy road and the vehicle rolled.

A passenger in the van Jason Michael Bourell, 35, Hutchinson, was transported to Neosho Regional Memorial Medical Center.  Rhodes was not injured.

The KHP reported both were properly restrained at the time of the accident.
