Variety is the Spice of Life — that’s the topic for our next After 5 meeting on Monday, Jan. 12 at the Rose Garden Steak Haus & Catering on East Eighth. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. , and the cost is $12.50.

The special feature will be Miche — fashion at the speed of life — with speaker Heather Rozean. Then, Janice Carlson will be the featured speaker for “Happiness is a Journey.” Janice is a retired elementary school teacher from Holdrege, Neb., and will be sharing about her years of trying to be a “control freak.” She will speak on the importance of observing the right signs and guideposts on the road of life.
