Glen Barnett, a Hays High School graduate and a Hays broadcast pioneer, died at age 90 on Dec. 24.

Barnett built KAYS radio in Hays for nine years as chief engineer, announcer and newscaster. He also served as chief engineer at KVGB in Great Bend.
