
SALINA -A Kansas man was injured in an accident just before 2:30 a.m. on Friday in Saline County.
Saline County Sheriff Glen Kochanowski said a deputy on patrol noticed a car ran a stop sign at Waterwell Road and Burma Road and was traveling at a high rate of speed north on Burma.
Law enforcement radar indicated the vehicle was traveling in excess of 100 mph.
The vehicle driven by Leslie Rhodeman, 23, Salina, crashed and rolled near Burma Road and Kansas140 highway.
Rhodeman was transported to Salina Regional Medical Center and is in the intensive care unit.
Kochanowski said Rhodeman was cited for several traffic violations including reckless driving, speeding, driving without a license, and failing to stop at a stop sign.
Debris from the crash was scattered over 600 feet.
