Piqua, Kan. – Three people were injured in an accident just before 5:30 p.m. on Thursday in Woodson County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2004 GMC pickup driven by Logan James Tidd, 18, Yates Center, was southbound on Willow Road at U.S. 54 one mile west of Piqua.
The driver failed to yield and collided with a 1991 Cadillac Sedan driven by Clara L. Reese, 51, Yates Center, that was eastbound on U.S. 54.
Reese and a passenger in the Cadillac and Frankie J. Parks, 75, Yates Center, were transported to the Coffey County Hospital.
Another passenger in the Cadillac Linda L. Parks, 65, Yates Center, was transported to Coffey County Hospital and transferred to Stormont Vail in Topeka.
Tidd was not injured.
The KHP reported the occupants of the Cadillac were not wearing seat belts.
