TESCOTT – A Kansas woman was injured in an accident just after 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday in Ottawa County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1994 Saturn S driven by William Lawrence, 60, Lincoln, was westbound on Kansas 18 two miles east of Tescott. The driver hit a northbound deer.

A passenger Kathy Lawrence, 55, Tescott, was transported to Lincoln County Hospital. William Lawrence was not injured.

The KHP reported both were properly restrained at the time of the accident.
