SHAWNEE — A suburban Kansas City gun shop owner who was shot and killed in a botched robbery last week has northwest Kansas connections.

Jon Bieker, 44, was fatally injured during the incident Jan. 9 in Shawnee at She’s a Pistol. Bieker was an owner of the business, which caters to female gun owners.

According to his obituary information, Bieker lived in Gardner, but spent most of his early life in WaKeeney. Click HERE for a complete obituary and service information.

Four men — Hakeem Willie Malik, Nicquan Midgyett, Londro Patterson and De’Anthony Wiley — have been charged in the killing.
