RUSSELL — The Deines Cultural Center will have the first Pickin’ at the Deines jam session of the new year today.

The event is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m. Sunday. Bring an instrument to jam along and or a side dish for the potluck dinner, served around 5:30 p.m.

The Deines Cultural Center is located on 820 N. Main, Russell.
