SIMPSON – A Kansas man was injured in an accident just after 2:30 a.m. on Sunday in Cloud County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1996 Chevy truck driven by Adam S. Stortz, 25 Beloit, was east bound on Eagle Road four miles east of Simpson.

The truck left the roadway into the north ditch and struck the northwest corner of a bridge.

Stortz was transported to Salina Regional Medical Center.
The KHP reported he was not wearing a seat belt.
