ATCHINSON — Benedictine College has recognized those students who have distinguished themselves academically during the last semester. Mary Ellen Wagoner of Hays, KS was recently named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester, which ended in December.
To achieve the honor, a student must carry a minimum of 12 credit hours and a grade point average of 3.5 or above per semester. Of the 1,854 students on campus for the 2014-2015 academic year, 528 made the Dean’s List.

PARKVILLE, Mo. — Park University is pleased to announce that Amanda Moore has been named to Dean’s List for Fall 2014. In order to qualify for the Dean’s List, students must complete 12 credit hours or more, earn a semester grade point average of 3.6 or higher, and receive no incomplete grades for the term.

WINFIELD — Top scholars at Southwestern College in Winfield and at Southwestern College Professional Studies have been announced with the release of the Dean’s Honor Roll for the fall 2014 semester. Full-time students who earned grade point averages of at least 3.70 (4.0 equals an A) were eligible for the honor.
Ashley Edwards, Hays, is included on the list.
Southwestern College is a private institution granting undergraduate and graduate degrees and is affiliated with the United Methodist Church. About 1,700 students attend classes at the main Winfield campus, at six professional studies sites in Kansas and Oklahoma, or online around the world.

CONCORDIA — Students have been awarded scholarships to attend Cloud County Community College for the 2015 Fall Semester. Students and the scholarships awarded are as follows:
Ashlyn Parrish of Hays, KS, and a graduate of Hays High School;
Alexis Campbell of Hays, KS, and a graduate of Thomas More Prep Marian High School;
Cloud County Community College (CCCC) is one of 26 public two-year community and technical colleges in Kansas and is coordinated by the Kansas Board of Regents. CCCC’s service area encompasses a 12-county area primarily in north central Kansas with its two physical campuses in Concordia and Junction City.

EMPORIA — Over $3.72 million in scholarship funds are helping more than 1,600 Emporia State students from Kansas, 17 other states and 16 foreign countries realize their educational dreams during the 2014-15 academic year.

LINCOLN — Danielle Marie Weber of Ellis was among nearly 1,500 graduates who received degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in ceremonies Dec. 19 and 20.
Weber earned a bachelor of science in business administration with high distinction from the College of Business Administration.

SALINA — Colton Spresser of Hays, has been named to the Fall 2014 Dean’s Honor Roll at Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina, Kansas. Full-time students with a semester grade point average of 3.25-3.74 and no incompletes are listed on the KWU Dean’s Honor Roll.

Sidney Schmeidler of Victoria, has been named to the President’s Honor Roll for the Fall 2014 semester at Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina, Kansas. The KWU President’s Honor Roll includes all full-time students who have no incompletes and a semester grade point average of 3.75 or higher for the semester.
