TOPEKA–The Office of Attorney General Derek Schmidt, in partnership with Home Depot, will commemorate National Consumer Protection Week by providing consumers in Hays the opportunity to fight identity theft by destroying personal documents.

Free document destruction services will be available at the Home Depot, located at 1310 E. 41st St. on Thursday, March 5, from 4 to 6 p.m.
