Northwest Kansas adult care home earns state praise

Kansas Department on Aging and Disability Services

TOPEKA – The Kansas Department on Aging and Disability Services announced Tuesday that Progressive Care Home Plus LLC received zero deficiencies as a result of the facility’s survey conducted by the department on Feb. 3.

In 2014, only 2.2 percent of all Kansas nursing homes surveyed by the department were found to be deficiency free.

“This achievement places Progressive Care Home Plus LLC in the top tier of performance for nursing homes in Kansas,” said KDADS Secretary Kari Bruffett.

“Progressive Care Home Plus LLC has set a high standard for all the facilities across our state to aspire to match. Administrator Donna Gregory and her team at Progressive Care Home Plus LLC should be very proud of this accomplishment,” Bruffett said.

Progressive Care Home Plus LLC is licensed as a home plus located at P13 Mill in Alton.

KDADS’ Survey, Certification and Credentialing Commission conducts unannounced inspections of the state’s 340 nursing homes annually.
