WINFIELD – A Kansas woman was injured in an accident just after 9:30 a.m. on Friday in Cowley County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Angel E. Edmonds, 24, Winfield, was southbound on 121st Road nine miles north of Winfield.

The driver lost control on a gravel road. The vehicle entered the east ditch and rolled.

Edmonds was transported to Wesley Medical Center.

The KHP reported she was properly restrained at the time of the accident.
