Thirty-two grant recipients representing organizations from Ellis, Rooks and Trego Counties were honored Monday evening by the Heartland Community Foundation at their Annual Awards Reception in Hays. Heartland presented grant checks totaling over $106,000 to nonprofit organizations during the event.

“We received 60 applications for grants made from the Heartland Area Action Fund, Healthy Living Fund and the Dane G.
