The Hays High boys golf team finishes second at the Liberal Invitational Tuesday afternoon at Willow Tree Golf Course in Liberal. The Indians shoot a 330, 21 shots back of Garden City. Nathan Romme fired a 3-over-par 75 to finish second. Cash Hobson was ninth with an 84 and Peyton Kieffer 10th with an 85.
The Indians finish second in the Western Athletic Conference team standings with 24 points, three behind Garden City. Payton Ruder and Cash Hobson were named First Team All-WAC while Nathan Romme was an honorable mention selection.
