WAKEENEY- Three people were injured in an accident just before 9 p.m. on Tuesday in Trego County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Kia Sedona driven by Shawn Michael Kern, 41, Kona, HI., was southbound on 300 Avenue five miles northeast of WaKeeney and topped the crest of a hill.
The driver lost control of the vehicle. It entered the east ditch and rolled.
Kern and a passenger Steven Bradley Johnson, 54, Cleveland, TX., were transported to Trego County Lemke Memorial Hospital and then flown to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
Eagle Med flew passenger Brenda J. Robinson, 40, Portsmouth, OH, from the scene to Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, Nebraska.
They were not wearing seat belts according to the KHP.
