MIAMI COUNTY – A Kansas man was injured in an accident just before 9 p.m. on Thursday in Miami County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2009 Ford Ranger driven by Robert B Toombs, 56, Shawnee, was northbound on U.S. 69 just south of 215th Street.

The vehicle drifted off the roadway to the left, then back to the right, traveled into the east ditch and rolled.

Toombs was transported to Overland Park Regional Medical Center.

He was properly restrained at the time of the accident according to the KHP.
