KANSAS CITY- A Kansas man was injured in an accident just before 6 p.m. on Sunday in Wyandotte County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Yamaha driven by Seth J. Jamison, 18, Lawrence, was northbound on Interstate 635 just north of Kansas 5.

The motorcycle crossed the outside shoulder, went into the grass, overturned and the driver was ejected.

Jamison was transported to North Kansas City Hospital.
He was wearing a helmet according to the KHP.
