ARLINGTON – A Kansas man was injured in an accident just after 12-noon on Thursday in Reno County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Ford Taurus driven by Jaida, Wheatley, 18, Moundridge, was south bound on Kansas14 at Lake Cable.

The vehicle slowed to take a left turn and was rear-ended by a Freightliner semi.

The Taurus went into east ditch and rolled on its side.

A passenger in the Ford Cody Osborn, 21, Hutchinson, was transported to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.

Wheatley and the semi driver Michael Nisly, 19, Hutchinson, were not injured.

The KHP reported all were properly restrained at the time of the accident.
