Staff Writer

This is a full-time, 12-month professional staff position at Fort Hays State University, Hays, Kan. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in journalism, public relations, English or a related field of study and at least two years of professional media experience; public relations experience is preferred. The staff writer must demonstrate proficiency in feature writing, news writing, editing and meeting deadlines. Position pays $38,000 to $42,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
