RUSSELL — Russell will have its annual Freedom Fest 2015 on July 3 and 4, featuring concerts by D.o.C., One Man Band and Dirt.

The public will be able to enjoy a morning sidewalk sale at local businesses as well as visit downtown and view patriotic window displays.

Mike Koerner of Eagle TV spoke recently with Russell Area Chamber of Commerce members Micky Johnson and Amber Zvolanek about the upcoming events.

On Friday, they will also have inflatables for the kids, vendors and an A&W Cruise Night in the evening.

The festivities continues Saturday, with a free movie at Dream Theatre at 10 a.m. The movie has not been decided but will be family friendly.

Visit the VFW for Bingo and a cake walk in the afternoon and end the evening with the annual fireworks display.
