GARDEN CITY – The Lee Richardson Zoo in Garden City needs help with names for their five new lion cubs.

The zoo reported the cubs, born on May 17, are getting bigger and more mobile but they still need names.

The public is encouraged to go to the zoo website www.leerichardsonzoo.org or stop by the Finnup Center for Conservation Education or Safari Shoppe to help select the winning names from options chosen by zoo staff.

The winning names for the cubs will be announced at 9 a.m. July 7.
