WICHITA- Three people were injured in an accident just before 5 p.m. on Friday in Sedgwick County
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Suzuki Grand Vitara driven by Michelle George, 21, Clyde, was northbound on Interstate 235 at Kansas 96 in Wichita.
The vehicle made an improper lane change in front of 1998 Ford Explorer driven by Roscoe Tabor, 36, Salina. Tabor lost control of the Explorer, struck the Suzuki and rolled.
A 2002 Toyota Corolla driven by Morgan Gauby, 21, Great Bend, then rear-ended the Suzuki.
Two children in the Explorer Gracie Chambers, 11, and Ashlynn Head, 8, both from Salina were transported to Wesley West ER. Tabor was also injured according to the KHP. They did not indicate where he was treated.
Gauby and George were not injured.
All were properly restrained at the time of the accident according to the KHP.
