The next meeting of the Hays USD 489 Board of Education will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the Toepfer Board Room of the Rockwell Administration Center, 323 W. 12th.

The meeting is the second for the 2015-16 board.

The board will address several issues for the district, including the milk contract for the year, approve staff handbooks for the year and hear recommendations from Board President Lance Bickle on appointments to district committees.

The board will also vote on policy changes, recommended by the Kansas Association of School Boards.
