SYDNEY (AP) – AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd is due in court today after he was arrested again in New Zealand.
Police will not say why they arrested Rudd at his home on New Zealand’s North Island on Saturday night.
Rudd’s lawyer confirms the arrest and says his client is in jail, but he refused further comment.
Two weeks ago, Rudd was sentenced to eight months of home confinement after he pleaded guilty to drug possession and threatening to kill a former employee.
Judge Thomas Ingraham had told Rudd he would “stone-cold guarantee” that if Rudd breached the terms of his home detention, he would end up in prison.
