The 42nd annual Kansas Shrine Bowl is set to take place Saturday at Lewis Field Stadium with kickoff at 7 p.m., and a weekend of events starting Thursday.

A golf tournament, 5k run/1 mile walk, high school combine, and other events will be happening to benefit Shriners Hospitals for Children, a health care system of 22 hospitals dedicated to improving the lives of children by providing pediatric specialty care, research, and teaching programs from medical professionals.
