Kansas Ag Research and Technology Association
The Kansas Ag Research and Technology Association (KARTA) and K-State Research and Extension would like to announce that they will be joining forces once again to present a dynamic workshop on small unmanned aircraft vehicles (sUAV) on Monday, August 10, at 10 a.m. in Colby.
The workshop will include in-field demonstrations along with presentations and guided discussions on the drone technology and best practices for producer applications (indoors).
The event is available to KARTA members at no charge, with a non-member rate of $25 per person. Lunch and refreshments are included. Attendees should come expecting to learn a great deal about the emerging use of sUAV (drones) to monitor crop growth, strategically plan chemical applications, and improve research efforts. The event will also be a great way to connect with other KARTA members and producers throughout the state during the brief lull before fall harvest and planting.
Directions to the exact field location will be provided to those who register to attend a few days before the event. For more information or to register, click here.
